The Core Wound
Chiron in Libra carries a wound around partnership and the ability to be loved. These individuals often feel that they are fundamentally unlovable, that they will always be abandoned, or that they must sacrifice themselves completely to deserve love. With Juno ruling Libra, this wound is specifically about committed partnership, the belief that they are incapable of sustaining the kind of deep, balanced love they crave.
This wound manifests as relationship codependency, people-pleasing, or the opposite: avoiding intimate relationships entirely because the risk of rejection feels unbearable. Chiron in Libra may attract partners who are unavailable, abusive, or unequal, unconsciously recreating the wound in hopes of finally healing it.
At the deepest level, this is a wound of self-abandonment. In the pursuit of partnership, Chiron in Libra may abandon their own needs, opinions, and identity so completely that they lose themselves. The tragedy is that the very thing they do to secure love, self-erasure, is the thing that makes genuine love impossible.
