Olympia in Aries
The Big Stage in Aries

Olympia is the big stage and what it switches on in you. Where this asteroid sits is where you rise to official competition — the ranking, the final, the event with a name — and perform better under the lights than you ever do in practice. You hold yourself to an elite standard here whether or not anyone asked you to. The trap is needing a scoreboard to feel that anything counts, and ranking yourself against people who are not even competing with you. Keep one part of this life unmeasured, or you will lose the love that got you here.

In fire, you are a showpiece competitor. Crowds make you faster.

In cardinal mode, you go after a new competition as soon as the last one ends.

In Aries this point has no patience for build-up. Olympia fires first and explains later, which means your relationship with major competition and the arena you were built for is written in decisions you made in under a second. The regrets here are almost never the risks you took — they are the times someone talked you into waiting. When this part of your life goes quiet, it is not peace. It is a confrontation you have been postponing.

You rise to the size of the stage. Organised competition, rankings, the official meet, the final: this is where you perform better than you practise, because the stakes switch something on. You understand, better than most people, that elite is a standard you hold every day, not a feeling.

Filtered through Aries, that gift shows up as bold, passionate, competitive — and it is most obvious to the people who watch you handle major competition and the arena you were built for when you think nobody is measuring.

You can come to need the arena. Unexamined, anything without a scoreboard feels pointless, and you rank yourself against people who are not competing with you at all. Your body can end up paying for years of peaking on someone else's schedule.

Aries adds its own version of the cost: impatience and a tendency to prioritize their own needs. In this part of your chart that is not a personality quirk — it is the specific way Olympia goes wrong for you, and it will keep repeating until you name it as yours instead of theirs.

Olympia fires when the official version of the event is announced, and practice suddenly stops being optional.

The work is keeping the love of the thing alive underneath the medals. Keep one part of your physical life completely unmeasured. The athletes who last are the ones who still enjoy the training when nobody is keeping score.
