Power, Harm & Ending the Cycle

Nessus is where the cycle of harm stops — or doesn't. This asteroid marks the place in your chart where toxic patterns, abuse, and violations of trust must be confronted honestly. You didn't start this cycle, but it lives in you now, and you're the one who gets to decide whether it continues or ends. Nessus is heavy, but its gift is the boundary you finally learn to draw — the line that says: this stops with me.

The Gift

Nessus is the placement where a pattern of harm can end. Where this sits, you have direct knowledge of how power gets abused — from having been on the receiving end, the giving end, or both — and that knowledge makes you almost impossible to fool about it. The gift is the boundary: nobody draws a cleaner line than someone who knows exactly what happens without one.

The Shadow

Unexamined, the cycle continues through you. Nessus is the placement of the pattern that was done to you and is now being done by you, usually in a form you would not recognise as the same thing. The other version is remaining in it — tolerating a violation because it is familiar enough to read as normal.
