The Gift

The Shadow

It also cost you. Sedna unexamined becomes a policy: never depend, never ask, never be that exposed again. The isolation is chosen now, and it is presented as strength rather than as the injury it actually is. The other version is the opposite — repeatedly recreating abandonment to prove the original verdict.
